Small parking at Col des Aravis (1,600 m) with stunning views of Pointe Percée. Tight but flat terrain at the heart of the Aravis massif. Steep, winding access road, closed in winter. Excellent trailhead for hiking and mountain biking. Very calm atmosphere in evenings despite grazing livestock. Two traditional Savoyard inns nearby. Note: overnight parking only by the chapel; daytime picnic area.
