Lake Chaudane reservoir near Castellane. Roadside parking with spectacular lake views. Very peaceful natural spot with minimal traffic. WARNING: parking is officially prohibited, police checks are frequent (especially July-August). Not recommended for overnight stays. Lake access possible but steep.
