The Camper’s take
Wild nature spot on a plateau with panoramic views over Hérault and surrounding mountains. Access via narrow, steep mountain road (D9). Very flat terrain, spacious with scattered pitches and privacy. Exceptionally calm at night, no services. Beware of processionary caterpillars late winter to spring and litter. Accessible to motorhomes up to 7.5 m.
Highlights
- Stunning panoramic views, especially at sunrise and sunset
- Very peaceful and quiet, especially at night
- Spacious flat terrain with many independent pitches
- Perfect for dogs, kids, and freedom of movement
Good to know
- Road access is narrow and uphill, difficult for large motorhomes
- Processionary caterpillars from late winter to late spring, dangerous for pets
- Litter and toilet paper left around
- Strong winds at times; need a good spot between trees
Motorhome access : Flat and mostly clear terrain, accessible. However, the access road (D9) is narrow, uphill, and not very wide: difficult for large vehicles (over 7.5 m). Maneuvering is possible but requires caution.
