Free parking beside the Tardoire river near La Rochefoucauld, in a protected natural area. Multiple flat spots suitable for large vehicles. Very peaceful setting, excellent for hiking around former gravel pit lakes. No services. Note: historic area now blocked; access via D73 recommended (avoid D6). Mosquitoes can be an issue.
