Au bord de la Charente en pleine nature, idéal pour une nuit, terrain plat au bord d'une route mais très peu passante. Certes cet endroit est idyllique mais il s’agit en fait d’une propriété privée que nous laissons gracieusement aux voyageurs quels qu’ils soient (pêcheurs, voyageurs et amoureux de la nature). Vous êtes les bienvenus à condition de laisser cet endroit propre et d’utiliser les sacs poubelle mis à disposition. Bonne route ! Into the wild
The Camper’s take
Free overnight spot on the Charente riverbank in private land open to travelers. Flat but muddy terrain in wet weather; access via path that can become boggy. Very peaceful despite nearby minor road with little traffic. Wild, natural atmosphere ideal for one night. Trash bags provided. Limited spaces (2-3 max). Better suited to vans and motorhomes than low-slung campers.

Motorhome access : Access via an unstabilized track with flat but soft terrain. Suitable for vans and campervans. Avoid when wet (risk of getting stuck). Tricky maneuvering, limited spaces.
