Free parking at Échalp hamlet, high altitude, ideal for hikers heading to Mont-Viso and GR51. Rocky, slightly sloped terrain above Guil torrent. Drinking water fountain at entrance, stream accessible for washing. Quiet and restful, generally good 4G coverage. No facilities (electricity, sanitation). Permitted for overnight camping-car parking.
