The Camper’s take
High-altitude parking at Tramassel pass (1600 m) next to a mountain refuge-restaurant. Exceptional panoramic views, very peaceful location with grazing animals (cows, horses, sheep). Starting point for hiking (Lake Isaby), unique outdoor sauna, daytime restaurant. Large parking area, popular in summer. Wind and changeable weather are factors to consider.

- Parking often full during summer days; occupancy varies greatly
- Water access and toilets not obvious (tap and restaurant toilets)
- Snow groomers active in winter (2-3 AM), animals on site at dawn
Motorhome access : Great access for motorhomes. Large flat asphalted parking at the top. Minimal maneuvering needed. Good road conditions. Best avoided in winter near ski slopes (grooming at night). Possible to descend in strong winds.
