The Camper’s take
Large, mostly asphalt parking at 2000 m altitude at the foot of Roc de la Calme ski slopes. Flat terrain with open views. No services (water, electricity, showers). Perfect for hiking, with access to Lac des Bouillouses via chairlift. Very quiet at night but busy during the day in season. Note: camping reportedly prohibited in winter according to recent reports.
