High-altitude parking at the valley bottom (2000m) and prime trailhead for lake Sainte-Anne. Large natural terraced areas with shade and public toilets. Very peaceful setting with wildlife (marmots, deer) and stream sounds. Camping permitted 18:00–09:00. Popular with hikers arriving early. Note: official ban posted but municipal tolerance reported.
