Mountain parking beside Étang du Coucou lake, on compacted gravel. Remote and very peaceful weekday location, ideal for hikers with direct trail access to several circuits. Picnic tables available, no mobile signal. Day-time visitor traffic from walkers; nearby scouts' camp can generate noise on weekends. Camping-car access reasonable but approach road narrow. Community waste management essential.
