The Camper’s take
Vast high-altitude plateau (1250 m) with dozens of spaced pitches on grassland offering stunning lake and mountain views. Access is narrow and winding, passable by van but tricky for large motorhomes. Very peaceful and ideal for solitude. Caution: seasonal flies and horseflies, occasional sheepdogs, no fires allowed. Active paragliding landing zone.

- Relatively easy access from Embrun.
Good to know
- Horseflies and flies overwhelming in hot season
- Narrow access, not recommended for large motorhomes
- Cleanliness is inconsistent: litter and toilet paper left behind
- Potentially threatening patous around
Motorhome access : Narrow and winding, tricky access. Gravel road manageable for vans but not recommended for large motorhomes. Better to approach from Embrun (less steep).
