Description
Barre à 2 m à l'entrée. Parking au bord d'Omaha Beach, en impasse, assez calme mais quelques promeneurs tardifs et matinaux. Le cimetière américain est juste au-dessus, on peut le rejoindre à pied. Réservé aux visiteurs du site. Il est fortement déconseillé d’y laisser son véhicule pour aller à la plage car le site ferme à 16h45 en hiver et 17h45 en été.

Parking directly on Omaha Beach sand, reserved for visitors, with 2 m height restriction at barrier. Flat terrain but rough access road with significant potholes. American Cemetery accessible on foot. Quiet in evenings, busy during daytime. No facilities (no bins, toilets, water). Historically significant site overlooking D-Day beach.

Motorhome access : Very difficult access: heavily damaged track with numerous potholes over about 50m. Flat terrain once parked. Possible to maneuver but not advised for large vehicles or low chassis.
