The Camper’s take
Small shaded uphill parking with picnic tables, access to ochre quarries and hiking trails. Very quiet and secluded location. Difficult access: steep short climb on gravel and ruts, manageable for vans and small motorhomes with caution, not recommended in wet weather or for larger vehicles. Some morning hikers passing through.

Motorhome access : Very difficult. Short but very steep climb with gravel and potholes. Follow the "Colline de la Bruyère" sign, avoid Google Maps. Suitable for vans and small motorhomes with 4x4 or a powerful engine. Avoid: large motorhomes, bad weather, rain. Scout on foot beforehand recommended.
