Description
Aire de pique-nique de Pierre-Buffière. Cadre très nature. A 5 minutes à pied de la commune (attention sa grimpe !) Pour accéder au parking veiller à ne pas arriver par le centre de Pierre-Buffière (accès très étroit et en pente) préféré l’accès par la sortie 39 de l’A20 (portion gratuite) Randonnées possibles à partir de la commune, vous pourrez notamment y découvrir un magnifique pont gallo-romain. Sinon du parking à retourner vers le vieux pont, juste avant ce dernier prenez le chemin à droite, marchez 15 minutes en forêt et au bout vous découvrirez les vestiges d’un site gallo-romain, ne cherchez pas de panneau de randonnée il n’y en a pas.

Riverside picnic area with natural shaded scenery and soothing atmosphere. Access via A20 exit 39 recommended (village centre approach very narrow and steep). Two small bridges restrict access to smaller/mid-size vehicles. Possible hikes to Roman ruins nearby. Peaceful setting under trees with flowing water sounds, though motorway and train noise audible. Picnic tables and bins provided.

Motorhome access : Very narrow access through the village center to be avoided at all costs. Take the route via A20 exit no. 39, then secondary roads. Two narrow bridges: passage confirmed up to 7.3 m long but extremely limited width. Tricky maneuvering; only small to medium vehicles.
