Description
Un bien bel emplacement juste en dessous d’un grand parking, de la place pour au moins 3 vans, très belle vue sur les montagnes, la route d’accès est étroite (deux voitures se croisent à peine donc avec un camping-car ce n’est pas simple), et surtout il y a des genres de gouttières au sol dans le goudron pour l’évacuation de l’eau, donc attention aux véhicules surbaissés. Il y a un petit cabanon avec toilettes sèches. Avec Orange j’avais la 4G. Départ pour des randonnées qui font très envie. A une centaine de mètre de l’emplacement, il y a le restaurant du Refuge du Pré Vérel, ainsi qu’une grande tyrolienne au Col de l’Aulp.
The Camper’s take
Trailhead parking at the foot of Tournette mountain with stunning panoramic views. Challenging narrow access for larger motorhomes. Dry toilets and waste disposal available. Main flat parking area (wedges needed) or alternative small track by stream. Daytime and peak season crowds. Restaurant refuge nearby. Caution: tight road access, water grooves in asphalt, cold nights.

Motorhome access : Very narrow road access with tight maneuvers, not suitable for wide or long vehicles. Main parking area is flat but stony (chocks needed). Approach road demanding at the junction.
