The Camper’s take
Mountain parking at 1,500 m elevation with exceptional 360° views over Lake Bourget and Mont-Blanc. Paved but sloped access, with public toilets and service area nearby. Very busy in late afternoon with day-trippers but empties after sunset, becoming peaceful for overnight stays. Note: New regulations in the Bauges massif restrict night parking to designated zones.

- Very quiet at night after 7–11 PM, as tourists clear out
- Toilets and bin on site, amenities nearby
Good to know
- Very steep parking, difficult access for some vehicles
- Extremely crowded in the evenings (tourists at sunset).
- New Bauges regulations restrict overnight parking except in specific authorized zones
Motorhome access : Tarmac access but steeply sloped, tricky for large motorhomes. Angled spaces limited; long parking possible late in the day. Maneuvering difficult due to slope and tourist traffic.
