Mountain parking (2000 m) with very demanding access: narrow, winding, potholed road, limited to 7 m vehicles. Outstanding valley views, peaceful nights, and ideal trailhead for the accessible 5-lake hike. Small snack bar "Le Petit Alpin" run by friendly Fred. Crowded with hikers during the day, quiet at night on weekdays. Temperature drops to 4°C even in July.

Motorhome access : Very challenging: narrow, winding mountain road with sharp turns and potholes; recommended max length 7 m (up to 7.2 m possible but tricky). Difficult maneuvers and risky crossings. Best for cars or small vans. Go alone and early to avoid hikers. Avoid if lacking confidence.
