Sur le parking du moulin de Lioux, sur les hauteurs du village, face aux falaises et au château le parrotier, parking de départ de rando. Nous avons passé une nuit, seuls au monde, sans être dérangés.
The Camper’s take
High-altitude panoramic parking near Lioux mill, overlooking cliffs and castle. Excellent hiking trailhead. About 3–5 spaces, gently sloped ground. Access requires caution: go west via Fontaube/Combe; southern route is narrow and risky. Stunning 360° views. Very quiet at night, some hikers pass through mornings. Can be quite windy. No facilities.

Good to know
- Very tricky access: narrow, poorly maintained road, GPS misleading
- Limited space: only 3–5 spots, sometimes taken
- Frequent and violent winds; highly exposed location
Motorhome access : Difficult access: narrow and poorly maintained road (essential: take the western detour via Fontaube/Combe; do not follow GPS from the south). Terrain is mostly flat but slightly uneven. Passage is tricky for large vehicles (7 m reported as the critical limit). Risk of scratches on the unpaved access road.
