En pleine nature
The Camper’s take
Wild parking near the Durance River, accessed via a small rough track with bumps. Very quiet and secluded setting, sheltered from mistral wind, away from traffic. Some water noise from a small dam but not bothersome. Passable for standard motorhomes, though road conditions vary seasonally.
Highlights
- Very peaceful and remote
- Shielded from the mistral wind and prying eyes
- Unspoiled natural setting
Good to know
- Access via a bumpy track with potholes, sometimes impassable
- The access road is uneven and inconsistent
- Permanent noise from the dam's water
Motorhome access : Passable but bumpy access road (holes, bumps); not recommended for low-profile vans. Condition varies with weather. Larger motorhomes can park before the big bump.
