Au pied d’un village de caractère, très grand parking gratuit pour voitures et camping-cars, sans limites de hauteur, sur l’herbe. Tables de pique-nique. Toilettes publiques au bas du village et dans le village. Jeux pour enfants un peu plus loin. Poubelles. Aucun service camping-car. Endroit très calme, bucolique. 2 restaurants au village, aucun autre commerce. Ne pas passer par le bourg avec ses ruelles étroites et tortueuses, suivre le panneau "Itinéraire obligatoire" qui mène directement au parking

Large free grass parking at the foot of the listed village of Lavaudieu, by the river. Very spacious, flat and shaded. Public toilets and bins nearby. Mandatory access via D20 to bypass narrow town centre. No motorhome services. Very quiet location, ideal for visiting the abbey and authentic village. Watch out for flies.
