High-altitude parking spot (2750 m) beside a small lake with stunning views of Grand Sassière. Spacious, flat area with pristine dry toilets nearby. Located on the busy Iseran pass road but minimal night traffic. Exceptional alpine experience with marmots, though very cold nights, windy, and landscape marred by ski lift pylons and snow-making infrastructure.
