The Camper’s take
Large car park by Lake Plagnes in the mountains (1200m), ideal for hiking and fishing. Very quiet nights with nearby stream and morning cow bells. Spacious but busy during day with early-arriving hikers and fishermen. Restaurant nearby. Narrow mountain road access. No drinking water or toilet facilities. Suitable for small vans; large motorhomes discouraged.

Motorhome access : Narrow uphill access road. Small vehicles (Vito, T5, up to ~5.5 m) welcome. Large motorhomes (>7 m) discouraged locally; advised to use lower parking in the village. Uneven terrain, early arrival recommended.
