Free high-altitude parking (2300 m) on the edge of Mercantour National Park, beside Lake Eissaupres. Idyllic location with panoramic views, marmots and birds of prey. Flat terrain, easy access. Public toilets available. Heavily visited in season with limited capacity. No mobile signal, no shade. Excellent for hiking and experiencing pristine mountain scenery.
