The Camper’s take
Free lakeside parking at Lake Matamala, 1500 m altitude. Spectacular mountain setting with direct lake access, picnic tables and BBQ areas. Very peaceful outside summer season, popular for hiking and swimming. Height barrier (2 m) from July 1 to August 31 only. No services (water, electricity, toilets). Limited waste bins on-site.

Good to know
- 2m height barrier closes the site July–August

Motorhome access : Gravel parking is accessible with easy maneuvering; numerous spots. A 2 m height barrier is enforced from July to August (no access for motorhomes over 2 m tall). Off-season access is unrestricted. Flat terrain by the lake.
