Free parking (temporarily) beside Lake Chavants with stunning Mont-Blanc views. Access limited to 12 consecutive hours (1 Dec–30 Apr and 1 Jul–31 Aug). Public toilets nearby, picnic tables, pizza restaurant adjacent. Flat terrain, plenty of spaces. Note: height restrictions (2m) on paid bays; paid conversion planned. Ideal peaceful overnight stop before tunnel crossing.
