Parking à la station La Sambuy au pied du télésiège. Dans le prix de la remontée est inclus pour les 10h de montée un guide pour 1/2h qui explique la végétation et la géologie. En fait, il est resté 2 heures avec nous, très intéressant.
The Camper’s take
Large free parking at La Sambuy mountain station (1200 m elevation). Spacious layout, very quiet after 6 PM, stunning views of Mont-Blanc and Lake Annecy. Toilets open overnight. Active family-friendly hub with summer luge, paragliding, via ferrata, and varied hiking. On-site restaurant (L'Avalanche). Chairlift recently closed (September 2024). Long winding access road required.

Good to know
- Long uphill drive, best avoided during ski/holiday seasons
- No shower or full water connection for motorhomes
- Dogs not allowed in the alpine pastures (family resort)
- Heavy daytime crowds in peak season
Motorhome access : Flat parking accessible to motorhomes, very wide and spacious. Long, winding, uphill access road (significant elevation) – avoid in harsh winter conditions.
