The Camper’s take
Free parking by the roadside near the Hérault river with swimming and kayaking access. Overnight stays permitted for vans/motorhomes if nothing is set up outside (camping strictly forbidden). 20-30 minutes walk to the medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Flat, shaded ground, no facilities. Very quiet at night despite road proximity.
