The Camper’s take
Mountain hiking trailhead parking with on-site inn. Spectacular views in good weather, near a river. Quiet at night but very busy from early morning with hikers. Partially sloped terrain. Narrow, winding road access, difficult for large motorhomes. Road closed November-April. Waste bins available. Water point at nearby hospice.

Motorhome access : Very narrow and steep winding road. Main parking is asphalted but crowded. Additional earth pitches at the bottom (more accessible for small vehicles). Not recommended for large motorhomes or poor traction. Tricky maneuvering.
