Small picnic area at the forest edge above Hayes Pass. Spectacular 180° mountain views. Maximum 2 vans. Rocky terrain with roots—unsuitable for larger motorhomes. Excellent hiking trailhead. Regular foot traffic, especially weekends. No bins. Free-roaming cattle. Mobile signal available.
