Petit parking dans une épingle. Hors saison ce fut un endroit très calme pour y passer une nuit. En saison il doit y avoir du passage sur la route (a verifier). Aucun service, juste une table de pique-nique. Le lieu est situé en dehors des limites du parc du Mercantour (zone dans laquelle il est interdit de camper).
The Camper’s take
Small hairpin-turn parking area just outside the Mercantour National Park boundary on the D2205 road. Quiet at night despite roadside location (traffic stops around 8 pm). Nearly flat terrain, spacious for multiple vehicles. Picnic table and river nearby. Excellent trailhead for hikes to Col de la Cayolle. No services. Very calm in low season, potentially busier in peak summer.
