The Camper’s take
Small asphalt parking by Lake Guerlédan with around 10 unmarked spaces. Starting point for hiking trails around the lake and access to a beach 200 m away with toilets. Very peaceful out of season but crowded during peak times (June-August, holidays). Slightly sloped terrain requiring levelling blocks. No services on site. Magnificent lake views from certain spots depending on tree density.
Highlights
- Very quiet out of season, idyllic lakeside setting
- Great for lake-side hikes
- Free parking tolerated by the municipality, stunning lake views
Good to know
- Overcrowded in peak season and holidays, very tight spaces
- Sloped terrain requiring wheel chocks
- No services (no water, no electricity, no restrooms on site)
Motorhome access : Accessible by campervan. Paved, gently to moderately sloped terrain with easy maneuvering off-season. When full, parking is very tight and difficult. Bring stabilizing chocks.
