Free hilltop parking with spectacular views over Besançon and the Citadelle. Stunning sunset/sunrise vantage point. Access road is narrow and difficult, requiring careful manoeuvring. Rocky, uneven terrain. Atmosphere highly variable: quiet on weekdays, very busy weekends with constant traffic, music, and visitors late into the night. Minimal services (bins, pets allowed). High recreational footfall on fine weather and party evenings.
