The Camper’s take
Gravel parking by the Durance river, accessed via a narrow, bumpy dirt track. Easy for vans and small campers, problematic for large motorhomes. Generally peaceful despite proximity to the kayak station (check hours). Limited pitches available. River swimming possible. Challenges noted: eroded/muddy access in wet weather, minimal shade, seasonal mosquitoes, cleanliness maintenance needed.
