The Camper’s take
Large open plateau at 1400m altitude with stunning panoramic views over the valley and Pyrenees. Flat terrain, winding but well-maintained access road. Generally quiet nights before 9am (increased daytime traffic). Free-roaming horses and sheep on-site. Wind and rain exposure to consider. Good mobile signal coverage.
Highlights
- Exceptional panoramic view over the mountains and valley
- Flat and spacious site with several available pitches.
- Very quiet night before 9 AM
- Wild animals nearby (horses, sheep, cows)
Good to know
- Highly exposed to wind, particularly problematic
- Busy road in the afternoon and peak season (motorcycles, cyclists)
- Slippery ground when wet, risk of bogging down
- Main road access is winding and steep.
Motorhome access : Main road access is winding and steep, wide enough to pass, flat grassy terrain but slippery when wet. Risk of getting stuck with heavy vehicles. Alternative: small gravel parking area slightly higher with the same view and better drainage.
