The Camper’s take
Dirt parking near Grangent dam with spectacular panoramic views of the lake and Essalois castle. Access via poor condition small road (caution advised). Partially flat terrain with limited parking spaces. Very quiet atmosphere at night despite nearby road. Ideal for a restful stopover with nearby hiking trails.

- Road access is very damaged with uneven terrain (low ground clearance risk)
- Limited spots, only 2-3 vehicles fit on the flat area

Motorhome access : Difficult access: severely damaged and rough road. Parking possible in the upper area (2–3 level vehicles), but the rest of the terrain is very steep. Manoeuvring is tricky.
