The Camper’s take
Free overnight parking (18:00-09:00) in central Annecy, directly beside the lake and old town. Excellent access to waterfront promenade and swimming areas. Daytime parking charged Monday-Friday. Space limitations (2.10 m height restriction in main area). Some unrestricted spots available. Public toilets nearby. Safe location but expect urban noise at night due to traffic and city activity.

Motorhome access : Main parking access limited to 2.10m height; an alternative parking across the street (police side) has no restrictions. Spots are narrow, maneuvering tricky during the day. Long vehicles (7m+) possible but tight.
