Description
Village de Marchezais, parking gratuit proche de la mairie, très calme et sûr pour la journée.pas de limite de hauteur. Pas de commerce dans le village mais ! La gare est à 500 m à pied, permettant de rejoindre directement le château de Versailles ou Paris Montparnasse sans changement . Il suffit de s'asseoir et d'arriver à destination. Très pratique pour visiter Paris la journée sans avoir à changer de train plusieurs fois, tout en profitant du calme de la campagne le soir. Cela nous a permis de rester plusieurs jours et de visiter PARIS ET VERSAILLES sans payer de parking.
The Camper’s take
Small free parking in a peaceful village, ideal for Paris access. 500 m walk to the railway station offering direct trains to Versailles or Montparnasse. No dedicated motorhome facilities. Very quiet in the late afternoon and evening. Water available for €4 from a nearby resident. Note: church bells ring from 7 am and early morning train noise can be heard.
