Free parking at Col de la Madeleine at 2000m altitude. Large flat area with stunning Mont-Blanc views. No services (water, electricity, toilets). Rubbish bins available. Two nearby restaurants. Quiet after 5pm and off-season; very busy during day and July-August. Starting point for hikes. Access via challenging winding road. Variable weather, cold temperatures even in summer.

Motorhome access : Spacious and level parking. The access road is very winding and narrow (20 km of switchbacks), not recommended for large vehicles. Watch for tight turns and limited width.
