Free parking at the foot of the Pénitents rock formation, ideal trailhead for scenic circular hiking. Flat terrain with partial shade and picnic tables. Water available (at information kiosk), basic toilets often closed. Main drawback: located right next to a busy road with heavy traffic, especially at night. Best suited for day visits or hikers tolerant of road noise.
