Parking du refuge de Frau (refuge fermé au moment de notre passage) parking qui sert également pour aller à l'aire d'observation des étoiles. Très grand espace avec vue ... seul au monde ... ah non : quelques brebis pour nous tenir compagnie. Idéal pour aller visiter Saint Cirq lapopie et ses alentours pour car la bas tout est payant.
The Camper’s take
Tolerated parking at the Frau shelter col, an astronomy observation site. Large, flat, grassy open area with stunning 360° panoramic views over the limestone plateaus. Access via narrow but lightly-trafficked road. Absolutely silent at night. No facilities (water, toilets). Must respect designated parking to avoid disturbing amateur and professional astronomers. Perfect for stargazing and visiting nearby Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.

Motorhome access : Flat grassy terrain with plenty of maneuvering space. Access via the narrow D24 road with sharp turns—drive carefully. Best for low-profile, compact vehicles. Avoid in strong winds.
