The Camper’s take
Small forest-edge parking lot near the road but with minimal traffic. Spectacular panoramic views (Mont Mézenc, Ardèche valley) excellent for sunsets. Lower level easily accessible; upper terraces passable with vans but rough, narrow tracks. Very quiet despite road proximity. Challenging weather: wind and cold nights even in August. Occasional manure smell (frequency unconfirmed).
