The Camper’s take
This large, flat gravel parking area is perfectly located at the base of the trail leading to the Mazamet footbridge and the medieval village of Hautpoul. While convenient for daytime parking, overnight stays are strictly prohibited, with campers directed to the nearby paid area. The site is very busy during the day, lacks shade, and can be prone to insects. Portable toilets are available on-site.
