Au dessus du Parking de la douane, immense espace plat, seul inconvénient : nid de poules pour y accéder ; camping-car déconseillé (cf photo) c'est aussi sur le chemin du chalet de Cerro, et un peu au dessus de l'accès au tunnel, certaines places sont donc protégées des bruits de camion. L'accès se fait 200m avant le péage du tunnel, sur la droite. Stationnement interdit de 22h à 8h
The Camper’s take
Large free flat parking 200 m before Mont-Blanc tunnel entrance, just before Chamonix. Access via rough potholed track, not recommended for camper vans. Quiet despite road proximity (traffic noise reduced by tunnel closure 22h-7h). Excellent base for hiking to Bosson Glacier and mountain refuge. Overnight parking prohibited 22h-8h.

Motorhome access : Very difficult and not recommended access. Potholed track with steep sections. Best visited in the late afternoon. Possible for small vans, not recommended for campervans.
