The Camper’s take
Small, flat parking area on the Deûle canal, excellent for hikers and cyclists. Very quiet overnight, but busy mornings (walkers, joggers, dog owners) from 7 AM. Adjacent forest park and cycle path to Lille. Barges pass regularly. Some drawbacks: noisy neighboring dogs, truck traffic from nearby factory, mosquitoes at dusk. Site condition depends on visitor consideration.
