Description
Parking isolé en bordure de Dordogne après une centaine de mètres sur un chemin de terre très accessible, plage de galets ensoleillée (de l'autre côté de la rive un camping peu bruyant mais rassurant pour certains, car la rive est éclairée).
The Camper’s take
Secluded small parking on the Dordogne riverside, accessible via rough dirt track that becomes difficult in wet seasons. Pebble beach with tree shade, wild natural setting, very quiet. No facilities. Recurring issues: cleanliness problems, mosquitoes, seasonal mud, overgrown access. Suits small vans and camper vans, challenging for larger motorhomes.
Highlights
- Wild and secluded natural setting
- Pebble beach by the water with trees for shade
- Very peaceful, perfect for tranquility
- Great for small vans and campervans
Good to know
- Very difficult access with cleared vegetation, low-hanging branches
- Poor cleanliness, leftover hygiene waste and toilet paper
- Heavy mosquito activity and humid air depending on the season
- Heavy mud in wet weather, risk of getting stuck
Motorhome access : Dirt road is very narrow and poorly maintained, with overhanging branches, difficult for large campervans. Suitable for small vans and 20-25m³ vans. Muddy terrain depending on season, risk of getting stuck when wet.
