Description
The Camper’s take
Col de Sarenne at 2000m elevation, small natural parking with breathtaking 360° views over the Meije massif and Emparis plateau. Ideal base for hiking (glaciers, lakes, waterfalls). Dry toilets and water point available. Access via narrow, winding mountain road. Very quiet at night despite daytime crowds in summer. Prepare for cold, wind and harsh weather conditions.
