Forest parking at Col de l'Épine, around 1000 m elevation. Very peaceful and cool setting, ideal in summer, with picnic table and access to hiking and climbing. Narrow, winding road access from Chambéry: not recommended for long (>7 m) or wide vehicles. No facilities. Quiet night, minimal traffic.
