The Camper’s take
Small free parking (€3 from April onwards) by the Cèze river at the foot of medieval Montclus village. Flat grassy area with children's playground and picnic tables. Very restricted access for motorhomes: barriers at 1.90m in main car park, only 2-4 unlimited-height spaces available. Flood-prone zone. No services except waste bins and pet-friendly. Peaceful setting but municipal authorities unwelcoming to camper vans.
