Large free parking 5 minutes from Saintes town center, alongside the Charente river and public gardens. Excellent pedestrian access to monuments, with a green-line ground tour. Height barriers 2.10 m installed seasonally (summer), removed off-season. Limited shade. Spacious, suitable for large motorhomes. Nights generally quiet on the riverside side. No services. Good for stopover or day visits.
