The Camper’s take
Small grassy parking beside the Charente river, very peaceful and shaded with beautiful river views. Easy access for most campers except some caravans beyond the small bridge. Nearby road but light traffic at night. No services despite claims. Perfect for a quiet night in nature, popular with fishermen. Camping officially prohibited but tolerated by local authorities.

Motorhome access : Easy for most sizes, but a narrow bridge at the entrance to the second part of the site restricts access for some caravans and converted trucks. Grass terrain, easy maneuvering. Watch out for damp ground.
